Lounge

It’s where you land after being warmly welcomed into the Royal Hotel, with a stylish dedicated bar and cozy seating area. In the Lounge, local DJs curate a laid-back but vibrant soundtrack, mixing everything from Afro and soulful house to funky house and disco. Whether you’re in the mood to relax and catch up with friends or hit the dancefloor for some grooves, the Lounge sets the tone for your night. From here, your journey continues: head downstairs for deep, dark beats or upstairs for classic, high-energy vibes. The choice is yours!

Basement

Hidden beneath the Royal Hotel is Legba's bar, a decadent speakeasy bar that the Sun Of A Beach family will have come to know and love. This stylish and quirky bar offers the perfect spot for catching up with friends, before you head through to the ‘parlour’ where the DJs will be taking you on an unforgettable musical journey. We’ve had some crazy, hot and sweaty nights in the basement and we can’t wait to welcome Andrew and Jack along on Easter Sunday for a special 5hr vinyl set – it is going to be something very different and quite brilliant…if you love a performance, you’re in for a treat!

Ballroom

The forever-loved grand hall upstairs, accessed directly from the Lounge and home to another dedicated bar, is the jewel in the crown. We fire things up a little later than downstairs and the room quickly fills as our awesome DJs spin everything from deep / melodic house, classics, anthems and tech house floor-fillers. The full production for the Ballroom space is handled by our trusty partner Orange Peel UK, so expect vibrant visuals, projectors, drapes, inflatables and of course the best sound system as always!


The venue will have a manned cloakroom for the night, so please bring some coins if you would like to store your coat. Last entry is by 10.00pm.
